| My name is Sebastian Hanek and I study linguistics at the Doctoral School in the Humanities at the Jagiellonian University. I am also the President of the Doctoral Council, a member of the Doctoral Club Board and competition committees at JU EI. In my research, I focus on the development of the discourse of non-heteronormative communities in Polish language. I am particularly interested in the challenges posed by non-heteronormativity in communication, including non-binary and transgender identities. By passion and conviction, I am a cognitive linguist who strongly believes in the power of words and communication. |
