PhD Program in Culture and Religion Studies is jointly set up by eight units representing four different faculties of JU:
• Institute of Religious Studies (Faculty of Philosophy)
• Centre for Comparative Studies of Civilisations (Faculty of Philosophy)
• Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology (Faculty of Philosophy)
• Chair in Anthropology of Literature and Cultural Studies (Faculty of Polish Studies)
• Chair in Performance Studies (Faculty of Polish Studies)
• Institute of the Middle and Far East (Faculty of International and Political Studies)
• Institute of Russian and East European Studies (Faculty of International and Political Studies)
• Institute of American Studies and Polish Diaspora (Faculty of International and Political Studies)
The Programme is a rich and flexible offer combining practical workshops with dedicated research seminars to be selected individually and to be enriched by tutorials and expert research guidance. It has been designed to best support ambitious young researchers in pursuing their individual careers in the European and global academia within the research fields constructed out of the joint expertise of the eight university units.
